InferIt Privacy Policy

InferIt is developed by Charlie Brej for Android and iOS. InferIt does not require an account, contain advertising or analytics, or operate a developer-owned server. Charlie Brej does not collect gameplay, contact, location, or device data through the app, sell personal data, or use data to track users.

Information stored on your device

InferIt stores game progress, in-progress puzzle state, settings, statistics, elapsed times, and purchase-entitlement status in the app's private storage on your device. This information is used to provide the game and is not sent to Charlie Brej.

Accounts, advertising, and analytics

InferIt does not require an account and does not contain advertising or analytics services.

Optional purchases

Optional Extra Packs are sold through Google Play Billing on Android and Apple's App Store on iOS. InferIt receives the product, transaction, and entitlement status needed to complete or restore a purchase, but does not receive payment-card or bank details. Google and Apple may process account, purchase, and device information under their own privacy policies. Store-provided sales and financial reports are not combined with gameplay data or used for tracking.

Backups and device transfers

Depending on your device and settings, Google or Apple may include some locally stored app data in cloud backups or device-to-device transfers. These services are controlled by the relevant platform provider. InferIt's Android purchase- entitlement cache is excluded from Android backup; purchases are restored through the store.

Sharing results

If you choose to share a result, InferIt creates a spoiler-free result image and caption and passes them to your device's system sharing interface. You choose whether and where to send them. InferIt does not send a copy to Charlie Brej. Any service you select may process the shared content under its own privacy policy. On Android, a generated image may remain temporarily in InferIt's private cache until later app or system cleanup.

Platform services

Google Play, Apple's App Store, Android backup, and iCloud Backup may independently process information when you download, purchase, update, back up, or restore the app. Their processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy or Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data retention and deletion

Local app data remains until you reset it where that option is available, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Backup copies and store purchase records are retained and controlled by Google or Apple under their policies and settings. Because InferIt has no user account or developer database, Charlie Brej cannot remotely delete local progress. If you contact support by email, your address and message are used only to respond and are retained only as long as reasonably needed, subject to legal obligations. You may request their deletion by email.

Security

InferIt stores local information within the operating system's private app storage and uses Google Play or Apple's App Store for payments. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, but InferIt does not upload gameplay data to a developer-operated server.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if InferIt's data practices change. Any revision will be published on this page with a new effective date.
